Job summary

Arc Herkimer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance across its facilities, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and more. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 7:00am–3:00pm schedule and some flexibility. Starting pay is $17 per hour.

You will maintain property and equipment, complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety. Qualifications include a HS diploma/GED and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge of tools and techniques to maintain a physical plant.
• Agency approvable driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as assigned by priority.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment.
• Report and repair any safety concerns that may develop.
• Snow removal as necessary.
• Record and track billable productive hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Rate of pay: $17/hr

As a Maintenance Technician you will maintain in an efficient and timely manner in areas of, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, painting, grounds maintenance, janitorial and/or any other trade or craft associated with maintaining the physical plant, property and equipment owned or operated by the agency.

Duties include but notlimited to:

• Complete work orders as assigned by priority
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all buildings and equipment
• Report and repair any safety concerns that may develop
• Snow removal as necessary
• Record and track billable productive hours
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
