Job summary

COATING PLACE LLC in Verona, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on a range of equipment, including boilers and HVAC systems, after initial training. The role requires following GMP and safety practices and supporting facility projects.

You will work 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with a first-shift training period of 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,000, full-time employment, and benefits like medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Basic understanding of MSDS contents.
• Knowledge of PPE and proper usage.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for job duties.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and move up to 150 lbs.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Shift:
2nd Shift- 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Training Schedule:
All training will take place on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
Training duration is approximately 4-6 months

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment and completing forms and records documenting completed work. Following training, which may last up to 3-4 months, the Maintenance Technician is expected to be capable of independently performing preventative maintenance on multiple pieces of equipment at a reasonable rate while following established policies, procedures, and practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in the setup, tear down, and troubleshooting of cGMP production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including boilers, HVAC, and purified water system.
• Perform calibrations on production equipment.
• Understand basic welding, plumbing, and electrical practices.
• Understand basic electrical diagrams.

• Support facility projects at the direction of the Maintenance & Engineering Department.
• Follow all CPI cGMP and CPI safety practices, policies, and procedures.
• Employees at CPI work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each.
• Depending on the position, the employee will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Basic understanding of the purpose and contents of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs).
• Knowledge of various types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and how/when to use it.
• Ability to read, write (legibly), and speak the English language at a level necessary for efficient performance of job duties.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs. and move objects weighing up to 150 lbs.
