Job summary

Winfield Property Management in Tulsa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our properties in the Bandon Trails and Tulsa area. You will perform general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and handle tenant work orders.

The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, requires good communication with tenants and contractors, physically capable work, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, including on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
• Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Conducts quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
• Handle service requests from tenants and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with tenants.
• Performs general safety repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
• Works to refurbish residences prior to occupancy.
• On call for emergencies.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Bandon Trails and the Tulsa area. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, appearance, and functionality. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance at the properties. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods walking and standing
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
