Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor, and motor systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment issues and downtime to minimize production impact.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations to support goals.

Wage: $26.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations at a food processing facility in Plover, WI that transforms raw fruits and vegetables into powdered ingredients used in pet food production. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in keeping production equipment operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production and processing equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor, and motor systems
• Respond promptly to equipment issues and breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability

Requirements

• Proven maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or food processing environment required

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license required
• Vocational training, technical certification, or apprenticeship in a related field preferred
