Nucor Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance team at our Texas facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting and repairs for industrial equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

The position requires installation, fabrication and startup of new equipment, with flexibility to fill in for other maintenance roles. Safety is emphasized as a core value across all tasks.

Competenze

• One year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.

Basic Job Functions:

The basic functions of the Maintenance Technician include preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, repairs on existing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Additional responsibilities include installation, fabrication, and startup of new equipment, and filling in for other positions in the maintenance department as needed.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One year of industrial maintenance experience
• Proven skills in troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrial systems in an industrial setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Allen Bradly PLC troubleshooting and or programming
• Industrial electrical experience
• Welding and/or fabrication experience
• Formal education or training in a maintenance related field
