Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support our fabrication operations in Texas. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and document repairs on aluminum fabrication equipment, reporting to the Department Supervisor.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and clear communication as you work with CNC machines, punch presses, drill presses, and related equipment to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with fabrication equipment.
• Experience with CNC machinery, punch presses, drill presses, and similar equipment.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, punch presses, drill presses, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals.
• Perform machine alignments, calibrations, and testing after maintenance or repair.

What You'll Get to Do

The Maintenance Technician focuses on performing and documenting preventative maintenance and repairs on various aluminum fabrication geared equipment, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment installation. This role reports to the Department Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is safety centric, detail oriented, and possesses effective communication skills. What We Are Looking For
