Overview

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, productivity, and maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
2. Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
3. Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
4. Perform mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
6. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure best products and prices.
7. Follow safety regulations and keep work areas clean and organized.
8. Build relationships with team members.
9. Install, repair, and modify electrical systems and equipment.
10. Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose malfunctions.
11. Perform general electrical maintenance and inspections.
12. Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
13. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
14. Observe safety, health, and environmental regulations.
15. Keep records of work performed.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be available for on-call work after hours for equipment issues.
