The primary mission of the hospitality Maintenance team is to ensure guest satisfaction by exceeding expectations. The role involves maintaining the building, grounds, and mechanical equipment with a focus on safety and security. Additionally, the technician performs daily maintenance tasks critical to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Potential Career Paths: Engineering Supervisor, Chief Engineer, Director of Engineering, Area Chief Engineer, Regional Director of Engineering, Corporate Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maintain schedules according to the preventive maintenance program.
2. Review work orders and night reports for assignments.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including laundry and kitchen appliances.
4. Maintain guestrooms using the preventive maintenance program.
5. Change air-conditioning filters, belts, bearings, and lubricate equipment as needed.
6. Inspect HVAC systems for noise or vibration, and adjust accordingly.
7. Change or repair locks as necessary.
8. Perform general maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.
9. Handle guest requests and assist in repair work.
10. Support other engineering personnel as instructed.
11. Keep the work area clean and organized.
12. Properly use, clean, and store tools and handle chemicals safely.
13. Secure assigned keys.
14. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Communicate clearly in speaking and writing.
• Use basic technology, including smartphones and computers.
• Experience in maintenance or building trades is preferred.
