Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure plumbing, building, and grounds maintenance runs efficiently for daily operations. The role requires teamwork, strong tool use, and the ability to safely operate hoists and forklifts.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of shop/manufacturing knowledge, with preference for electrical wiring skills. This position supports a broad range of electrical and maintenance tasks across our facilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required.
• 1-3 years of shop/manufacturing/mechanical knowledge.
• Heavy experience utilizing shop tools for projects.
• MIG welding is required.
• Electrical wiring knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and facility assignments as directed.

Brief Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring Sunbelt Solomon’s plumbing, building, and grounds maintenance is operating efficiently to conduct daily operations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as a hoist and forklift.
• Completes work orders, facility assignments as directed.
• Assists with plumbing, building and grounds maintenance.
• Complete construction tasks such as roof repair and office renovations.
• Follow all environmental specifications for the area.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, required.
• 1-3 years previous shop/manufacturing/mechanical knowledge, required.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting, preferred.
• Heavy experience utilizing shop tools for projects, required.
• Ability to MIG weld, required.
