Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician on a part‑time basis in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on keeping residents’ living spaces safe and attractive by maintaining and repairing equipment, systems, structures, and grounds.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, completing work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Director, and documenting inventory and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and quality in a compassionate senior living environment.

Formación

• Prior experience in related trade or position, preferably with electrical, HVAC and general maintenance expertise.
• Ability to operate a vehicle as part of service requirements, as needed.
• Comfort with documentation and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Regularly walk the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety.
• Complete and document work orders for building, grounds and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Follow troubleshooting steps and report needed parts or supplies to the Maintenance Director.
• Assist with inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and supervising work by outside vendors.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Job Highlights

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring the place they call home is a safe and attractive living environment. This position functions to maintain and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure and grounds of the residence.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
• Required: Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
