Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Tampa, FL is seeking a maintenance professional to manage the upkeep and repair of production equipment, tools and machinery on the maintenance team.

You will install, adjust, and repair equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, replace parts, and support plant operations. A high school diploma, ability to lift 80 lbs, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends are required. AI tools may be used in certain stages of the employment lifecycle, with final decisions by a person.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and replace parts.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and troubleshoot with supervision for approval.
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Observe equipment sounds and indicators to identify issues.

Job Summary

Responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned to the maintenance team by the plant manager or other supervisor as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned
• Test malfunctioning machinery, troubleshoot and determine repairs and discuss with plant supervisor for approval and repair as needed
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards
• Observe mechanical devices and equipment and listen to sounds to determine proper functioning or identify causes of trouble
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
