Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Morrisville, NC to maintain and repair production equipment and tooling. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to keep machinery running, schedule repairs, and support continuous operations.

The role requires hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance, hydraulics and electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot PLCs. Welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing maintenance.
• Experience with plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, PLC troubleshooting; welding preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned
• Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and obtain head mechanic approval
• Install equipment and electrical components and test for proper functioning
• Dismantle equipment to access/remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Summary

This role is responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.

Job Responsibilities

• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing manufacturing maintenance
• Previous experience in plant machine maintenance; hydraulics, electrical, ability to trouble shoot PLC's, welding (preferred but can work around)
