Job summary

Dhanani Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side) to manage facility operations across a wide geographic area and service requests, with emphasis on HVAC, refrigeration, and preventative maintenance.

You will supervise maintenance contracts, coordinate with vendors, input work orders, and respond to emergencies. This role requires hands-on technical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites.
• Handle a high volume of service requests with timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams on requirements and projects.
• Supervise maintenance contracts and oversee preventive inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system and track progress.
• Serve on rotating on-call schedule for facility issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance and service delivery.
• Input and track data in the work order system.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and efficient.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and implement fixes.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Undertake additional delegated responsibilities.

Here-s What You Will Be Doing

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area.
• Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
• Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
• Serve on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery.
• Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.
