Job summary

Schreiber is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.   • Practical knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance methods.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance systems, documentation, and reporting.
  • Reliability, responsibility, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to work in physically demanding and operational plant environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and technical systems according to maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical faults and carry out repairs within defined competence and authority.
  • Support execution of planned maintenance activities and respond to unplanned breakdowns.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks using internal procedures, technical documentation, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other plant partners to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Record completed work, inspections, and findings in the maintenance management system.
  • Support spare-parts usage by identifying required materials and reporting inventory needs.
  • Assist with minor building repairs and general facility maintenance as assigned.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to equipment failures.
  • Follow health, safety, environmental, and food safety requirements and report non-standard situations.
