Job summary

Coworx Staffing Services LLC in Stamford, CT is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving equipment to maximize uptime and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC experience, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with machine installations, modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Operate maintenance shop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Support inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Stamford, CT. This is a hands-on role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Desired Background/Skills

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
