Job summary

Elevation Real Estate and Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Springdale, AR apartment community. The role covers general maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to keep units safe, functional, and rent-ready.

You will complete work orders, handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and coordinate with the Property Manager to uphold property condition and safety standards.

Qualifications

• . High school diploma or GED required.
• . Minimum 1 year maintenance experience in multifamily or related field.
• . Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• . Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• . EPA 608 and HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
• . Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and grounds upkeep on schedule.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Ensure vacant units are rent-ready within established timelines and budget guidelines.
• Assist in organizing and prioritizing service requests, make-readies, and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the property's physical condition.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members to ensure positive relationships and quality service.
• Support special projects and capital improvements as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

What Will I Do?

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily, construction, or a related field
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of apartment maintenance work
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently
• EPA 608 and HVAC certifications preferred but not required
