Job summary

HTI - Human Technologies, Inc. is hiring Maintenance Technicians for the Spartanburg area. These full-time, direct-hire opportunities offer competitive pay and multiple shift options including 8-hour 1st shift, 12-hour day, and 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, and other electrical components.
• Work with 480V/3-phase electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair and replace bearings, belts, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, servo motors, drives, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Allen-Bradley systems.
• Support robotics, automation, presses, welders, conveyors, and assembly equipment.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, testing equipment, and precision measuring devices.
• Complete scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Document maintenance activities and completed work orders using SAP or other CMMS systems.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What You'll Do

Depending on the position and your skill set, responsibilities may include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or equipment repair experience

• Mechanical, electrical, or multicraft maintenance background

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with industrial electrical systems is highly desirable

• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, robotics, automation, or production equipment is a plus

• Ability to read schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
