Our client, a leader in the engineering and data center industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting critical infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (HVAC, Chillers, Switchgears, electrical components)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, onsite

Pay Range: 28.00

What’s the Job?

• Manage and oversee data center engineering operations on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality work and adherence to procedures.
• Establish performance benchmarks, analyze operational data, and prepare detailed reports on facility performance.
• Operate and maintain critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, and cooling towers, including emergency response when necessary.
• Assist in designing, building, and optimizing new and existing facilities to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical (Military/Trade School) Degree with relevant experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in data center or engineering environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
