Job summary

GPI Management in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our property's appearance, functionality, and safety in top condition for residents.

You will perform routine repairs, handle work orders, assist with unit turns, and ensure compliance with safety standards. EPA certification is a plus, reliable transportation required, on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartments, hotels, or similar environments preferred.
• EPA Certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units, common areas and building systems.
• Handle work orders promptly including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize issues and extend equipment life.
• Assist with unit turns including painting, repairs and cleaning for new residents.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment and inventory in an organized manner.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident satisfaction

• Reliable transportation and ability to be on-call for emergencies

• EPA Certification (a plus, not required)
