Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection and blow molding machinery, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and document work orders. You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), repair motors, valves, belts, and support startups and changeovers.
The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on injection and blow molding machines and related equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine root causes minimizing downtime. Complete work orders, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and timely.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems. Repair and replace motors, valves, pumps, bearings, belts, hoses, and other machine components. Calibrate machine controls and instrumentation as needed.
Maintain and repair:
Assist in machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and new equipment installations.
Perform maintenance on facility systems including:
Support facility improvement projects and capital equipment installations.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Participate in safety training and audits. Ensure compliance with company quality systems, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintenance procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work around machinery, noise, heat, and manufacturing conditions. Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on call as needed.
The Maintenance Technician works primarily in a plastics injection and blow molding manufacturing environment where exposure to machinery, moving equipment, elevated temperatures, noise, and industrial materials is common. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
