QUICK USA in Sonora, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing equipment and assist in line maintenance. The role requires adapting to older machinery that needs frequent adjustments, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours are 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime. Salary ranges from $16–$20/hr DOE, with health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus vacation days. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on mechanical experience required.
• Experience in welding, electrical, plumbing, or hydraulics is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs preferred.
• Automotive technician experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on various manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain older machines that require frequent tweaking.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Assist in the maintenance of automotive component production lines.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and maintenance techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be willing to learn, and possess the patience to work with older machinery that requires frequent adjustments.

Essential Duties:

• Perform general maintenance on various manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain older machines that require frequent tweaking
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Assist in the maintenance of automotive component production lines
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and maintenance techniques

Working Hours, Working style:

0800-1700 Mon-Fri

Full-time position with potential for overtime as needed
