Job summary

Cicor Ohio, Solon site, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and mechanical equipment. You will assist with maintenance projects and minor repairs, following blueprints, manuals, and safety procedures.

Candidates should be able to climb ladders, work at heights, and accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends or holidays. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on machines and building equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and health procedures.
• Willingness to work with limited supervision and adapt to production needs.
• Forklift/tow motor certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment issues to determine mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic solutions.
• Performs repairs or maintenance per manuals and codes.
• Develops and performs preventive maintenance to prevent recurring issues.
• Completes building and equipment repairs; supervises major repairs by contractors when needed.
• Obtains estimates for parts and orders materials as needed.
• Completes projects such as equipment reworks, fabrication, and design improvements.
• Maintains daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and records.
• Mentors and trains other employees on maintenance tasks.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and maintains records.
• Performs job rotations as production needs change.

Are you skilled in performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures? The Cicor Solon, OH site is currently seeking someone to join our team assist with maintenance projects in the building and to do minor repairs on mechanical and other company owned equipment.

Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots equipment issues to determine air, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical solutions.
• Performs needed repairs or maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes or other accepted quality work practices.
• Develops and performs preventative maintenance of machines and equipment to prevent future and reoccurring issues.
• Performs minor repair of all buildings and equipment. (Supervises major repairs by licensed contractors.).
• Obtains estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
• Completes projects assigned, such as equipment reworks, fabrication, repair, and design improvements.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Mentors and trains other employees on intermediate preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assures all departments comply w/ all written health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Provides maintenance and safety records to supervisor when requested.
• Perform job rotations during scheduled workday depending on production needs.

Person Specification

• Ability to climb ladders and work effectively at heights of ten (15) feet
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to carry out duties with minimum daily supervision
• Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend, evening and holiday work required
• Tow Motor certification
