Job summary

Corvac Composites in Greenfield, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and process functions for the plant on a full-time basis.

The role requires mechanical and electrical skills, reading/writing and math abilities, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The candidate must be able to stand 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS.
• Follow standardized work instructions.
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System.
• Fully participate in and support the Corvac EMS System.
• Fully Participate in and support the Corvac Safety Policy.
• Perform preventative maintenance functions.
• Set up tooling to meet the process requirements as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe and timely manner, including automation and robotics equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting operations in a safe manner as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment controls and industrial wiring as needed.
• Diagnosis & direct replacement of Motors and gear boxes.
• Record all Preventive Maintenance and complete Work Orders.
• Participate in training and development as needed
• Troubleshoot any processing issues that may arise.
• Work with quality team to review part defects and resolve part defects by making process adjustments on the equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

PAY STRUCTURE:Hourly

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:Perform Maintenance & Process functions for the plant

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Must have reading, writing, communication, and math skills
• Mechanical and electrical skills required
• Technical High School or Vocational School plus specialized course work

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist for up to 12 hour shift
• Ability to work overtime as needed
