Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians in the Sioux City area. The role covers daily maintenance of equipment, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of issues on production machinery.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues with precision tools, and supporting the production team to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and GMP/HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency using hand/power tools, precision testing instruments, and machine shop equipment.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and repair or fabricate parts for conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
• Technical Inspection: Diagnose equipment issues using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), hand/power tools, hoists, and engineering schematics.
• Operational Efficiency: Help minimize downtime by supporting production staff on routine maintenance and maintaining accurate maintenance records and shift handovers.
• Team Leadership & Support: Assist with shift communication, monitor team metrics, mediate shift issues, and support ongoing safety/GMP/HACCP compliance.

Maintenance Technician Pay: $31 – $36/hour+ DOE Hours: 3rd shift, 11 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. M-F

An established local manufacturer in the Sioux City area is hiring 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be accountable for the daily maintenance of equipment, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and repair or fabricate parts for conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
• Technical Inspection: Diagnose equipment issues using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), hand/power tools, hoists, and engineering schematics.
