PalletOne, Inc. in Siler City, NC is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician to keep equipment and facilities running safely while you learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair mechanical systems, follow OSHA standards, and collaborate with a supportive team to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Lifting up to 20 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.
• Willingness to provide personal tools as required.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and solutions.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards including lockout/tagout.
• Read and interpret basic machine schematics with limited guidance.
• Organize parts, tools, and materials in designated locations.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to support plant success.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support daily operations by maintaining and repairing equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using hand and power tools
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying solutions
• Follow OSHA and safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Read and interpret basic machine schematics with limited guidance
• Organize parts, tools, and materials in designated locations
• Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members
• Work cross‑functionally with other departments to support overall plant success
• Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

We're seeking dependable, detail‑oriented candidates who are eager to learn and take pride in their work.

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs independently
• Willingness to provide personal tools as required
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions

Preferred

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Experience using presses, drills, clamps, and other small tools
• Interest in learning precision measuring tools (to .001”), such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
• Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
