Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical, and automation.
• 3+ years of proven mechanical and electrical skills
• Must have current knowledge of electrical codes and electricity and be able to apply it to the job.
• Electrical wiring / troubleshooting 480VAC, 120VAC and low voltage control wiring 24VDC
• Experience with, Siemens S7, WinCC HMI, and Allen Bradley highly preferred
• PLC and computer programming and interfaces (Siemens) highly preferred
• Machine robotics (Kuka Robots) preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of production machines including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Provide emergency repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Carry out plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Initiate and propose solutions through designated channels

Our client, a leading automotive supplieris seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technicianto join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Shelby Twp, MI

Pay Range: $26-31/hr

What’s the Job?

• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production andperformsscheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines,equipmentand plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.Initiates, recommends, or provides solutions through designated channels.
