Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for Shelby Township, MI. You will perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support site goals.

The role is a temp-to-hire position with weekly direct deposit pay and a dedicated career partner. Requirements include 3+ years of mechanical/electrical skills, knowledge of electrical codes, and experience with Siemens S7, WinCC, and Allen-Bradley; PLC programming and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical, and automation.
• 3+ years of proven mechanical and electrical skills
• Must have current knowledge of electrical codes and electricity and be able to apply it to the job.
• Electrical wiring / troubleshooting 480VAC, 120VAC and low voltage control wiring 24VDC
• Experience with, Siemens S7, WinCC HMI, and Allen Bradley highly preferred
• PLC and computer programming and interfaces (Siemens) highly preferred
• Machine robotics (Kuka Robots) preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of production machines including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Provide emergency repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Carry out plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Initiate and propose solutions through designated channels
