Job summary

Cambridge Real Estate Services is seeking a maintenance professional to perform moderate to complex repairs and preventative maintenance across properties. On-site presence is required to meet day-to-day needs and travel between sites; living on-site may be needed in some cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Minimum of three years of maintenance experience.
• Property management maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Ability to complete reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and public.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers.
• Respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Participate in after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas including parking lots, trash enclosures, laundry rooms, community center, carports, and pressure washing.
• Participate in company-sponsored training seminars.
• Other duties as required.

$29 - $31 per hour

This position is full-time, 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday.

Summary

Under the supervision and at the direction of the Property Manager, perform moderate to complex repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain the condition and appearance of the property. Although living on-site may or may not be required, it is required to actively be on-site to meet the day-to-day business needs and may involve more than one property with structured travel between sites. Duties

• Complete maintenance requests and apartment turnovers
• Perform timely and professional responses to ongoing maintenance requests within the 24-hour response guidelines
• Participation in after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis
• Interior and exterior common area upkeep, including litter patrol of parking lots, trash enclosures and laundry rooms, community center and carports, and pressure washing of buildings and interior walkways
• Active participation in company-sponsored training seminars
• Other duties are assigned as required and necessary
