Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Sanford, NC plant to support day-to-day production operations. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, rebuild machinery, and work with machine operators to keep production running smoothly.

The role emphasizes autonomy, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to respond quickly to equipment issues, with typical hours Mon–Fri 6am–4pm and potential OT or weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pneumatic systems, conveyors, chain drives, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to use multimeters and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Insight Global is working with a rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturer and distributor to identify a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

This hire will support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations at the Sanford, NC plant, acting as a key maintenance resource on the production floor. This individual will spend the majority of their time troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, rebuilding machinery, and working directly with machine operators to keep production running efficiently. While the typical schedule is Mon‑Fri, 6am‑4pm, the candidate must be open to OT or weekend work as needed.

The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, and the flexibility to respond to equipment issues as they arise. This role offers significant autonomy and visibility within the facility.

Typical responsibilities will include:

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.

Compensation and benefits include:

• Hourly pay rate ranging between $30-$35/hr, with exact compensation to be determined based on relevant experience and background
