Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring safety compliance.

Job DetailsJob Location: San Jose, CA 95131Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayThe Machining Technician is responsible for ensuring that our equipment and systems are functioning properly, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and repairing any problems that arise.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct routine inspections of facility systems and equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjusting equipment
  • Perform repairs on equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs performed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requestsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

QualificationsEDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPEREINCE
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level across the organization.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese preferred
  • Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Ability to be cross trained in other departments to help with unexpectedly high demands.
  • Required to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Required to wear PPE when in the production area
