Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking Maintenance Technicians to handle maintenance work orders, unit turns, and ongoing property upkeep. The ideal candidate will provide excellent resident service while performing HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing units for new residents, and participating in on-call emergency responses. HVAC and pool certifications are preferred, with a focus on reliability and hands-on problem

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge or certification (preferred)
• Pool certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces and plumbing
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes and work order systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting and walking

Tarantino Properties is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance, work orders, unit turns, and property upkeep while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Essential Functions:

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
  

Requirements

• HVAC certification highly preferred but not required.
• Pool certification preferred
