Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to respond to and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position.

Maintenance Technician – Salem, MA

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment communities in Salem, MA.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical maintenance.
  • Plumbing maintenance.
  • HVAC maintenance.
  • Appliance repair.
  • Locks & keys management.
  • Basic carpentry.
  • Painting and drywall repair.
  • Janitorial, grounds and snow removal.
  • Cleaning of common areas.
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in buildings’ common areas and other assigned areas.
  • Maintaining exterior grounds according to company standards.

Compensation and Benefits
