Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, starters, fuses, relays and sensors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production lines.
• Support changeovers on packaging lines as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping and safe, reliable operation.

General Responsibilities

• Experience with electrical systems including starters, fuses, contacts, relays.
• Electrical systems installation, frequency drive (VFD) and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on advanced production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair electrical problems on production equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Help with any Package changeovers when required.
• Perform general housekeeping and 5S standards.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with PLC and industrial electrical experience required.
• Experience with packaging/high speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.).
• Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
• Experience with compressors/ammonia systems (e.g., refrigeration systems).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
