Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Roswell, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support three wastewater facilities across a multi-site operation.

This is a hands-on role focused on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related process equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues, perform inspections, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to safely perform maintenance activities in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, conveyors, and related process equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, replacements, and major maintenance projects.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and equipment performance testing.
• Perform vibration analysis and other predictive maintenance activities.
• Support emergency repairs and on-call response efforts as needed.
• Prepare and fabricate piping, brackets, supports, and other maintenance components.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support operations across three wastewater treatment facilities. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in an industrial environment and enjoys a mix of preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, emergency response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll work alongside a highly experienced maintenance team responsible for maintaining and repairing the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems that keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. No two days are the same. One day you may be rebuilding a pump, the next troubleshooting electrical controls, performing predictive maintenance testing, or responding to a critical equipment issue.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, conveyors, and related process equipment
• Assist with equipment installations, replacements, and major maintenance projects
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and equipment performance testing
• Perform vibration analysis and other predictive maintenance activities
• Support emergency repairs and on-call response efforts as needed
• Prepare and fabricate piping, brackets, supports, and other maintenance components
• Perform metal cutting, welding, brazing, and soldering operations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation
• Keep tools, vehicles, maintenance areas, and shops clean, organized, and safe
• Partner with operations personnel and fellow technicians to identify and solve equipment reliability issues
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical training
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely perform maintenance activities in an industrial environment
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater, water treatment, manufacturing, utilities, heavy industrial, or processing facilities
• Working knowledge of pumps, motors, hydraulics, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Certifications such as Forklift Operator, Crane Operator, Rigging, SCBA, Confined Space Entry, or Metal Cutting

Work Environment & Schedule

• Work rotating schedules, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call rotation
• Travel between assigned facilities
• Work in outdoor and industrial environments in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Frequently lift and carry 50-60 pounds
• Load, unload, and move tools, materials, and equipment
• Access confined spaces when required
• Climb ladders, stairs, and elevated structures
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
