Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team across the Greater Philadelphia region, including NJ and DE. The role encompasses a range of maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and on-call maintenance, using power tools safely, and contribute to a clean, safe environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driver''s license.
• Verifiable High school diploma/G.E.D.
• 3 years of maintenance experience required.
• Skilled in carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, drywall and spackle, painting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs across building systems and equipment.
• Complete daily work assignments and report progress.
• Conduct walkthrough inspections and address repairs promptly.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. The technician will be responsible for locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, including NJ and DE.

Position Details

• Become familiar with the policies and procedures that is associated with Merakey. Comply with these policies and procedures in carrying out all aspects of the job.
• Be directly responsible and report to the Maintenance Manager
• Comply with work schedule. Call the program to report absence or lateness of work.
• Complete daily work assignments made by program supervisor.
• Attend periodic staff meetings and mandatory in-service trainings.
• Uphold the missions, values and philosophy for Service of Merakey and uphold the general standard of professional conduct that relates to the position.
• Assume on-call coverage for emergency maintenance responsibilities.
• Able to work with Power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Proficient performing desk and furniture repair
• Proficient performing surface preparation and paint
• Proficient performing wall and ceiling tile repair
• Proficient performing electrical repairs.
• Proficient performing roof repairs
• Proficient performing repairs to the HVAC system, ongoing maintenance
• Proficient performing parking lot repair and maintenance
• Proficient performing plumbing repair and maintenance
• Proficient performing lock repairs
• Proficient performing necessary renovations and upgrades to the physical plant.
• Proficient performing all types of home and building maintenance.
• Perform walkthrough inspections of sites, report and address repairs in a timely manner.
• Perform assigned projects while working with other or independently.

Earn up to $24/hour in this position.
