Nolan Living is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) in Roeland Park, KS to keep HVAC, mechanical systems and building structures running smoothly. Reports to the Property Manager and requires HVAC certification with 4+ years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Background check and E-Verify required; valid U.S. driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures.
• Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and respond to service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies.
• Prepare reports, logs, and service documentation.
• Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• HVAC certification required
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset

• Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devices
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
