Job summary

AtWork Personnel | Charlotte East is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician with PLC experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a clean, high-precision manufacturing setting. The role supports life-saving tourniquet production for the U.S.

military and first responders. Qualified candidates will have PLC experience, mechanical/hydraulic maintenance skills, and a track record in manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
• PLC experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Industrial sewing machine experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic production equipment.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose automated equipment using PLC software.
• Respond quickly to production equipment issues and implement effective repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and inspection documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs.
• Support reliable production in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

2nd Shift Maintenance Technician with PLC Experience

$34–$35/Hour + Up to 11.5% Quarterly Bonus

We're seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a clean, high-precision manufacturing environment.

• Quarterly incentive opportunity of up to 11.5% of eligible quarterly earnings
• Additional attendance incentive of up to 3% per quarter
• 112 hours of PTO annually, accruing from your first day
