Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.

• Basic computer, math, and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with plant personnel.
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Maintenance Technician IV

SHIFT: M-F 1 PM-9:30 PM Overtime as needed.

PAY: Starting $30.50 plus $1.00 shift differential

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing maintenance of the facility and production equipment to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You’ll be responsible for the installation, ongoing maintenance, and necessary repairs for the facility and the production equipment. Required Experience and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions
• Basic computer, math, and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with plant personnel
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow within the role

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience working in an industrial maintenance setting
• Ability to read, follow, and modify electrical prints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Prior experience in mechanical and electrical equipment competencies including 480V 3-phase, HVAC, boilers, motor control systems, PLC/automation, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, basic fabrication, and CMMS systems
• Familiarity of industrial instrumentation/process control

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
