Job summary

Tiffin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day production operations at the Red Bay facility. The role collaborates with production and maintenance teams to resolve industrial equipment issues and uphold company values: Customer Driven, Do It Once Do It Well, Coachable, Work Ready, There’s Always A Solution.

Responsibilities include general industrial maintenance, using hand tools, reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and performing PMs.

Qualifications

• General industrial maintenance experience.
• Comfortable reading electrical schematics.
• Experience with production equipment in manufacturing.

Job description

Title: Maintenance Technician

FLSA: Hourly Non-Exempt

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Purpose:

Responsible for supporting day to day production operations to ensure Tiffin Group maintains daily production targets. Position will work closely with production and maintenance team members to resolve industrial equipment issues and support Tiffin Group core values: Customer Driven, Do It Once Do It Well, Coachable, Work Ready, There’s Always A Solution

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• General industrial maintenance skills


• Experienced using industrial maintenance hand tools


• Experience with CNC equipment is a plus


• Troubleshooting and understanding of 120 V, & 480 V 3 Phase is a plus


• Troubleshooting and repairing issues on production equipment in the plant


• Support general facility maintenance as needed


• Read and understand electrical schematics & mechanical drawings


• Maintain production equipment and complete PM’s as assigned


• Experience in welding and fabrication


• Experience with glue machines, roll coaters, and lamination equipment is a plus


• Experience with spray systems and equipment is a plus

Requirements:

• Ability to diagnosis and solve problems with production equipment


• Comfortable working in production type environment


• Ability to perform work in mature and professional manner, demonstrate personal responsibility, and perform all assigned duties.


• Work experience a plus


• CDL license a plus


• 5S experience a plus
