Job summary

Newport Pacific Capital, which manages manufactured housing, RV parks, and apartment communities, seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for a 262-space park in Poway, California. You will perform a variety of building and grounds tasks and help keep facilities safe, functional, and inviting for residents.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general maintenance experience, can work independently or with a team, and is able to respond to occasional urgent issues after hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience (property management experience a plus).
• Ability to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform building and facility maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems.
• Read submetter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric, and water).
• Groundskeeping and landscaping.
• Swimming pool maintenance.

We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician for a 262-space park located in Poway, California.

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of general maintenance tasks that require strong troubleshooting skills and proficient knowledge of:

• Building and facility maintenance.
• Plumbing and electrical systems.
• Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric, and water).
• Groundskeeping and landscaping.
• Swimming pool maintenance.
• General carpentry.

Desired skills and experience:

• Skilled in operating various hand tools, landscaping equipment, general maintenance equipment, and safety equipment.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Available to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of normal business hours.
• 1 year of general maintenance experience (property management experience a plus)
