Natural Retreats is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our 360 Blue team in Cape San Blas, FL. This full-time role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining homes within the portfolio to ensure an exemplary guest experience.

Responsibilities include servicing core home systems, basic repairs, housekeeping assistance as needed, and proactive maintenance to support guest and homeowner satisfaction. Safety and availability for on-call needs are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair.
• Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cape San Blas portfolio operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain home systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Perform basic repairs to interior/exterior aesthetics and move/position items.
• Service hot tubs and maintain grounds and walkways.

Natural Retreats is hiring a MaintenanceTechnician to join our 360 Blue team in Cape San Blas, FL! This full-time position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the homes within the 360 Blue portfolio in order to ensure an exemplary guest experience. The primary function will be to carry out the servicing and maintenance of all properties in the designated Cape San Blas, FL area, including monitoring of usage by guests and owners. This position will act as an interface on occasion between 360 Blue, guests, homeowners, third-party vendors, etc. This position will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, homes, and grounds in the 360 Blue portfolio to ensure a high level of guest and homeowner satisfaction.

COMPENSATION:

$23.00 per hour or more depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist in overseeingthe operation of the Cape San Blas portfolio of homes
• Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot andmaintaincore home systems(i.e.HVAC, pool service, lock installation, septic systems, plumbing, electric, radiant heating systems, mechanics, etc.) in addition to the following:
  • Basic repairs to interior and exterior home aesthetics (i.e.painting, dry wall repair, basic construction, etc.)
  • Moving equipment, appliances, furniture, etc.
  • Hot tub servicing
  • Removing items from home for disposal
  • Maintain lawn, walkways, driveways, etc.
  • Debris and trash removal
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test andmakeadjustments
  • Pick uptrash
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance inhomes
  • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentryfunctions
  • Assisthousekeeping whenneeded
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to homes and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance andservice
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test,andmakeadjustments
• Perform regular preventive maintenance in homes andproperties
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performingduties
• Comply withsafety regulations andmaintainclean and orderly workareas
• Perform general maintenance/arrival audits prior to owner or guestarrivals
• Perform general maintenance/departure audits upon owner or guestdeparture
• Maintain details records of service performed in all units, according to the dailytimesheet
• Communicate the completion and progress of assigned workorders
• Perform maintenance as assigned by Management, including but not limited to audio/visual, electrical, basic plumbing, mechanics, and/or appliancerepair
• Responsible for tracking and upkeep of assigned tool inventory
• Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting credit card and purchase account usage
• Record billable items and hours to be billed to guests and/or owners for workorders
• Emergency on-call phone - all of team will be tasked with thisresponsibility

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Maintenance Technician should be flexible with their hours. Weekends and holidays are required and will generally be busy and considered working days with guest arrivals and departures although these can be covered on request and approval of the General Manager. We encourage all of our Team Members to take 2 days off per week where possible. Guests can arrive at unpredictable times, and the Maintenance Technician should always be available in case of emergency, which includes evenings and on-call hours. Generally, this means working some inconsistent hours. Exact daily schedule may vary and differ from in-season to off-season. Vacation is generally taken out of peak season.
