Natural Retreats is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Cape San Blas, FL area. This full‑time role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining homes within the 360 Blue portfolio to ensure superior guest experiences.

Pay starts at $23 per hour and can increase with experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Weekends and on-call hours are expected as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Cape San Blas portfolio of homes.
• Troubleshoot and maintain core home systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Perform basic repairs to interior and exterior aesthetics and upkeep of grounds.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and complete daily maintenance logs.
• Respond to emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance as needed.

Natural Retreats is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our 360 Blue team in Cape San Blas, FL! This full-time position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the homes within the 360 Blue portfolio in order to ensure an exemplary guest experience. The primary function will be to carry out the servicing and maintenance of all properties in the designated Cape San Blas, FL area, including monitoring of usage by guests and owners. This position will act as an interface on occasion between 360 Blue, guests, homeowners, third-party vendors, etc. This position will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, homes, and grounds in the 360 Blue portfolio to ensure a high level of guest and homeowner satisfaction.

COMPENSATION:

$23.00 per hour or more depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist in overseeing the operation of the Cape San Blas portfolio of homes
• Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot and maintain core home systems (i.e HVAC, pool service, lock installation, septic systems, plumbing, electric, radiant heating systems, mechanics, etc.) in addition to the following:
  • Basic repairs to interior and exterior home aesthetics (i.e painting, dry wall repair, basic construction, etc.)
  • Moving equipment, appliances, furniture, etc.
  • Hot tub servicing
  • Removing items from home for disposal
  • Maintain lawn, walkways, driveways, etc.
  • Debris and trash removal
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Pick up trash
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance in homes
  • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions
  • Assist housekeeping when needed
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to homes and perform scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventive maintenance in homes and properties
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Perform general maintenance/arrival audits prior to owner or guest arrivals
• Perform general maintenance/departure audits upon owner or guest departure
• Maintain detailed records of service performed in all units, according to the daily timesheet
• Communicate the completion and progress of assigned work orders
• Perform maintenance as assigned by Management, including but not limited to audio/visual, electrical, basic plumbing, mechanics, and/or appliance repair
• Responsible for tracking and upkeep of assigned tool inventory
• Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting credit card and purchase account usage
• Record billable items and hours to be billed to guests and/or owners for work orders
• Emergency on-call phone – all of team will be tasked with this responsibility

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
• Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills

• Basic organizational skills to effectively record and catalogue documents on work performed

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Maintenance Technician should be flexible with their hours. Weekends and holidays are required and will generally be busy and considered working days with guest arrivals and departures although these can be covered on request and approval of the General Manager. We encourage all of our Team Members to take 2 days off per week where possible. Guests can arrive at unpredictable times, and the Maintenance Technician should always be available in case of emergency, which includes evenings and on-call hours. Generally, this means working some inconsistent hours. Exact daily schedule may vary and differ from in-season to off-season. Vacation is generally taken out of peak season.
