Job summary

Highland-Fr-LLC in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an experienced Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to execute maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment, and read blueprints.

The role requires 3+ years of millwright experience, OSHA 10, ability to work extended hours, and adherence to safety policies including LOTO and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or college preferred.
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
• One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
• Ability to work independently and utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
• Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
• OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
• Experience of MiG and stick welding.
• Exceptional Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all tasks, jobs, and repairs.
• Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to Analyze and Understand Blueprints, Schematics, Layout plans and other materials.
• Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills in Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
• Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintain all equipment, tools, and workstations.
• Ability to utilize skills to Improve equipment Optimization and Reliability.
• Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
• Effectively Communicate to all Team Members and Management any equipment deficiencies.
• Meticulous Attention to detail; able to follow instruction both written and verbal.
• Participating in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, and 5S projects.
• Ensure workers adhere to Local, State and Federal Codes and Regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
