Job summary

Highland Solutions LLC seeks a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to execute maintenance plans, troubleshoot equipment, and read blueprints. The role requires hydraulics and lubrication know-how, and work may include climbs and extended hours. Safety compliance and precise workmanship are essential.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial mechanics, MIG/STICK welding experience, and OSHA 10. This is a full-time, on-site position in Pine Bluff, AR, with potential for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or college preferred.
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
• One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
• Ability to work independently and use critical problem solving to generate solutions.
• OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
• Experience of MIG and stick welding.
• Compliance with LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Planned and Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot by applying critical thinking to identify, diagnose and repair equipment problems.
• Analyze and understand blueprints, schematics, and layout plans.
• Maintain all equipment, tools, and workstations.
• Improve equipment optimization and reliability.
• Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
• Communicate equipment deficiencies to team members and management.
• Participate in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5S projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to Analyze and Understand Blueprints, Schematics, Layout plans and other materials.
• Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills in Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
• Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.

• Ability to utilize skills to Improve equipment Optimization and Reliability.

• Exceptional Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all tasks, jobs, and repairs.
• Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
