Job summary

Agile is seeking a Facility-Maintenance Technician in Phoenix, AZ for 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm) after initial training on first shift. Pay DOE, with full-time, non-exempt status.

The role focuses on keeping facility equipment running, troubleshooting root causes, and supporting daily production needs in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, upgrades, safety adherence, and hands-on repairs across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Self-motivated, mechanically inclined candidate.
• Entry-level role; potential for growth.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Experience with automation, PLCs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure reliability of facility equipment and systems.
• Run preventive maintenance programs and inspect equipment.
• Repair, replace, or upgrade faulty components.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase uptime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Job Description

The Facility Technician ensures all the equipment is running and performing as it should to ensure that the processes are able to produce quality parts. This will be accomplished by performing quick and decisive troubleshooting that will fix the issue at its root cause. The individual selected for this role will thrive in an environment that changes daily and the tasks that are needed to be completed change as well. The maintenance technician needs to be self-motivated and work well both independently and as part of a team.

• Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
• Improves and evaluates function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
• Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
• Repairs equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility
• Modifies, lubricates, diagnoses, and operates equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED (2-Year Technical Degree Preferred)
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Self motivated, Mechanically inclined person
• Entry Level role
• Prior Forklift experience, and willing to get certified through us
• Demonstrated aptitude in the following areas:
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Pneumatics
• Plumbing
• Welding
• Experience in troubleshooting automation systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) is a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and/or stand-up reach lift
• Must pass a background check, including criminal history and drug test
