Job summary

Friends Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair and maintain HVAC systems and a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment on a large hospital campus.

The role involves hands-on maintenance across facilities, ensuring reliability of life safety systems, plumbing and utilities, and contributing to a safe, well-maintained environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical and general facility maintenance across a 100-acre hospital campus.
• Inspect and service life safety and electrical systems as part of routine environmental rounds.

The Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and/or maintains mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, concrete, brick and block work, HVAC systems, plumbing system, sprinkler systems, refrigeration system, tile setting, pipe fitting, appliance repair, flooring and floor repair, repair of roads, sign installation and inspection of sprinkler system, smoke detectors, receptacle environmental rounds, emergency lighting, wiring, light bulbs, fire extinguisher and maintains and cares for 100 acres of hospital grounds.
