Job summary

Dover Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Facility Maintenance professional to perform HVAC, plumbing and general maintenance across the hospital campus. You will support patient care areas, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure readiness for special events.

The role involves on-call rotation, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with hospital staff to deliver reliable, quality service in a dynamic 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in general maintenance in a hospital setting is a plus.
• Sheet rock finishing and painting experience required.
• Industry certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work rotating on-call hours and holidays in a 24/7 hospital environment.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the HVAC system and equipment for the hospital.
• Deliver general repair, painting, and maintenance of the hospital.
• Maintain inventory of all supplies throughout the facility.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients, staff, and guests by identifying their needs and providing timely maintenance.
• Track maintenance requests in work order system (Facility Dude).
• Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair.
• Prepare facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
• Respond timely to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures.
• On call on a rotating schedule.

Essential Job Duties:
