Job summary

LR Management in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance and interact with residents to support a fast-paced property operations.

Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs, move in/move out inspections, and maintaining inventory and shop cleanliness, with on-call and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call.
• A high school diploma or GED
• The ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Accomplishing carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring an adequate inventory level for required parts.
• Ensuring service shop is clean and organized.
• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas.
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal.
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing.
