Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Northport, AL. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Responsibilities include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting equipment failures, and completing repairs in a timely manner. The role involves executing preventive maintenance plans, documenting work performed, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and following all safety and quality guidelines. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing targets.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills.
• Candidates should possess experience with Preventive Maintenance practices and documentation.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations; commitment to safe work practices.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Vocational/technical training or certification in maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly.
