Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a night-shift role at our Northlake, TX facility. The technician will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex production equipment, including conveyors, packaging machines, and processing systems, to improve efficiency and yield.

Responsibilities include inspecting and replacing components, using precision instruments for measurements, and carrying out basic machine shop duties.

Qualifications

• Experience following instructions and process documents.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and systems.
• Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.
• Operate and/or oversee packaging machines and processing systems in a climate-controlled environment.
• Inspect, replace, repair and overhaul mechanical drives/motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, motor control center devices, transport conveyor systems and rotating, cutting, & grinding equipment.
• Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and other precision instruments to determine working clearances on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Perform typical maintenance repairs through assigned work orders.
• Perform basic machine shop duties such as drilling, grinding, light metal fabrication, welding and machining.
